Look for details and sign-up information in the Weekly Bulletin closer to the event date!
MANJ will once again host Family Science Night for MANJ students, ages 6 through 12, on Tuesday, January 28th. The purpose of this fun and informative evening is to make science more accessible to families by using a hands-on approach to learning scientific processes and concepts. Science night, under the direction of Ms. Louis Pascale, MANJ’s middle school science and math teacher, and Ms. Pamela Keller, will be a cooperative learning environment where skills of problem-solving, questioning, and communication will be addressed. The evening will be divided into science openers and a main event which will partner parents and children together in the learning process. Ms. Pascale and Ms. Keller taught science together for many years at the William Allen Middle School in Moorestown. They received their training from Rutgers University’s Family Science Program.
What a great opportunity and a fun time for families to participate in group science activities!
Reservations and $5 per student fee are required to hold your child’s spot. Click here for the downloadable form; print, complete and return the form to the office with payment by Monday, January 27th. Please note: this is a family event; one or more parents must accompany their children.
