Montessori Academy of New Jersey, Delran, is currently expanding and accepting resumes from Toddler, Primary, and Elementary teachers interested in joining our thriving Montessori community for the  2023-2024 school year. 

All applicants must be AMI certified; applicants currently enrolled  in an AMI training course may be considered.

About Montessori Academy:

Serving students 15 months through 6th grade, MANJ is AMI recognized, and has been providing an exceptional Montessori experience since 1965 and is the longest running AMI recognized Montessori School in New Jersey. The mission of Montessori Academy is to nurture and guide our students in the development of character, compassion, respect, curiosity,  the means to learn, to invent, and to participate fully and joyfully in life – independently and in collaboration with others.


Our school boasts well equipped classrooms of approved AMI Montessori materials. Set in a state of the art converted 4 story barn located on a lush farm, we are complete with nature trails, large park, playgrounds, vegetable and flower gardens, and farm animals.

Our faculty and staff are dedicated to the Montessori pedagogy, and we uphold the highest standards of faculty and instruction as set out by the Association Montessori Internationale. Our administrative team provides consistent support to teachers and staff. We currently offer programs for children aged 18 months to 12 years and collaborate with a nearby adolescent program.


We are located 1 hour from the Jersey seashore, 1 ½ hours from ski areas, 1 ½ hours from New York City, and within easy commute of Philadelphia with its fine, educational, cultural and entertainment offerings.

Preferred Experience, Qualifications, and Distinctions:

Applicants must hold a Montessori teaching certificate for the level for which they are applying. Teaching experience in a Montessori environment is preferred, but others will be considered. Salary:
